THE LOCATION

La Bahia is an Intimate, peaceful, eco-friendly resort on one of Nicaragua’s most beautiful beaches. Situated on the beach side of a 19-acre teak farm, the hotel was constructed using local labor and materials such as volcanic rock, teak and salvaged wood from Hurricane Felix. The hotel is located 35 minutes west of Chinandega on a secluded stretch of Nicaragua’s Northern Pacific Coast. Fall in love with its understated elegance and rustic charm.

ABOUT OUR CHEF, SASHA NOELLE

Based in Nicaragua, Sasha Noelle is a plant-forward chef, with over a decade of experience working in wellness spaces in the tropics. Her work is a blend of nourishment, intention, and reverence for the natural world.

Culinarily trained under renowned chef Matthew Kenney, Sasha specializes in raw and vibrant cuisine, drawing inspiration from global traditions. She blends her artistry with wellness practices to create elevated dining experiences in private villas, retreats, and intimate events throughout Central America and southern Spain.

A steward of the land, Sasha prioritizes fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers and the unique terroir. Each dish is crafted from scratch to be nutrient-dense, flavorful, and free from processed or refined products.

Sasha believes that to heal ourselves, we must begin by healing the soil. Her ethos blends beauty, sustainability, and wellness—offering food and experiences that truly nourish body, mind, and spirit.

ACCOMODATIONS

4 cozy beachfront cabanas with a private patio and hammock, ceiling fan, open-air bathroom, unobstructed ocean views and a private beach path. Each cabana is designed for double occupancy and can be arranged with a king bed or two single beds.
